Thanksgiving Shopping for Hope & Healing
Tuesday, November 17, 2026 | 6:30 p.m.
Location: Acme Fresh Market, State Road
Help provide Thanksgiving meals for individuals and families served by Hope & Healing (formerly the Battered Women's Shelter) in Akron. Volunteers will shop for groceries to supply meals throughout the four-day Thanksgiving weekend.
Volunteers Needed:
-
10–12 shoppers to purchase groceries (approximately 30 minutes).
-
1 packer/driver to help load groceries and provide a vehicle to assist with delivery to Hope & Healing in Akron.
This annual service project is about more than providing food. It's about showing individuals and families facing difficult circumstances that their community cares about them.
